My favourite tool for managing web content

There are some great tools around to manage and index web content that you want to keep and share. I personally love del.icio.us, which you can install in your browser and bookmark pages easily as you come across them online. I find it a great research and personal development tool, you can collect a base of information on as many topics as you like and retain content you want to look back to when you have time.

Before using del.icio.us, I found it very easy to lose and/or forget about articles or resources I wanted to read. I use it both professionally and personally to retain valuable web content on topics I am really into such as new media, investor relations, communications and global financial markets.

It also means I can share my bookmarks for people interested in the same things. Some of these have been found in the depths of the web or may not be up there in search rankings anymore but are definitely worth the read.
